Atelier Viollet recently completed a pair of herringbone pattern tops in palmwood, designed by Thad Hayes.
One of Atelier Viollets favorite materials is palmwood. It is a rare wood species that was primarily used by a famous decorator, Eugene Printz, during the 1920s and 1930s. The beauty of palmwood resides in the mixture of light and dark fibers. This contrast is what makes it distinct from all other wood species.
