Atelier Viollet recently completed a new box of samples for the studio that contains a range of signature materials our workshop employs. The box features variations in parchment, shagreen, horn, mica, gypsum, and straw, amongst others. Each sample accentuates the material’s specific characteristics, rendering an idea of how it might take form as a unique piece of furniture or a wall treatment. Color and cut are not meant to limit the possible use of these materials, but rather serve as examples of their stylized capabilities.
