In 1999 we rescued a set of chestnut wood panels from a turn of the century country estate in Brittany, France. The panels were carved by J. Leveder. These beautiful carved panels are mainly inspired by hunting and country life scenery, except for one panel representing Paris, complete with a majestic image of the Eiffel Tower on the horizon.
They can be seen below in the original estate.
These panels could be re-installed in any estate with the help of a good artisan. Along with the panels, we imported a log of local chestnut wood that will help in fabricating any parts needed to accommodate installation into a room. These panels could also be cleaned and lightened to provide a more contemporary look.
