Atelier Viollet has recently been featured in a Huffington Post article by interior designer and decorator Gail Green, entitled Six Unique Materials Will Make You Reimagine Design. The article runs through some of the workshop’s most popular and commonly used materials or techniques, which are introduced as “underused materials that are now making a comeback.” Having worked together on several projects in the past, Green is familiar with the scope of the Atelier’s portfolio. She discusses Atelier Viollet favorites such as parchment or straw marquetry by explaining their extensive historical traditions and various styles of design. Atelier Viollet is thankful for this tribute to its dedication and use of rare materials in furniture design.
